Day - 1 : Agartala Arrival
Arrival at the Agartala Airport and our representatives will brief about the Archaeological sights of Tripura. In the evening local sight seeing at the Historic Ujjayanta palace,.Ujjayanta Palace was built by King Radha Kishore Manikya in 1901 in Indo-Saracenic style with its large garden similar of famous Mughal Garden on a lake front covering 1 sq KM. It is a testimony royal heritage of Tripura. Apart to this Akhura international Border check point, Old templescan be visited.
Day - 2 : Agartala Boxanagar Udaipur
This day is to explore Boxanagar in Bishalgarh Subdivision of Tripura. It is known for the brick built ruins and believed to be Buddhist temple. which was excavated by the Archaeological survey of India. After that heading to Udaipur for overnight stay. Here we can visit the famous Bhubaneswary temple and the Gunabati group of temples of sixteenth century .
Day - 3 : Udaipur Pilak
Early in the morning transferred to Pilak in Santir Bazar sub division of Tripura. Pilak is an archaeological sight flourished in the 8th-12th century of the christian era. It is believed that Pilak representing cultures of both Hinduism and Buddhism.
Day - 4 : Pilak sight seeing
this day is to explore Pilak and its historical remains. Pilak is an amazing destination for tourists having interest in Archaeology. Many images and structures, belonging to Buddhist and Hindu sects, have been discovered here since 1927. The earliest dates of Hindu and Buddhist sculptures, terracotta plaques and seals found at the site are of 8th and 9th centuries. The artifacts unearthed at the site belong to the Bengal's Palas and Guptas sculptural and architectural features; also the style of the Arakan, Myanmar and indigenous features is noticeable.
Day - 5 : Drive to Agartala for departure
After exploring the archaeological remains of buddhists and hindu cultures on the 5th day of the tour is time to depart having some delighful insight of being in the places of ancient cultures. Driving back to Agartala Airport Tourists will be drop at and ends the tour to Tripura Buddhist circuit.
